Police Shopian organised debate/Seminar at various Schools across the district and also displayed portraits of Police Martyrs. In continuation of ongoing Police
Commemoration Day Events, As a mark of honour and Commemorating the sacrifices of Police martyrs Shopian Police organized a debate/seminar on "Role of Present Day Policing in Society and Nation Building" at Govt. High School Zawoora & Kids Kingdom School Zawoora in which different lectures were delivered by School Principals, Police Officers and students, touching all the angles of the topic and highlighted the positive role being played by the Police.
Besides, as a mark of respect and honour, portratis of Police Martyrs of District shopian were installed/displayed in their respective primary Schools where from they had got their primary education. The bravery and martyrdom of Police Martyrs were also highlighted in their schools and also floral tributes were paid.
