The aim of the session was to aware the DDOs on the efficient management of funds under these schemes.The programme was attended by Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and dealing account assistants associated with the district treasury and its subordinate treasuries, aimed at familiarizing them with the SNA-SPARSH system for seamless financial operations.The session was led by District Treasury Officer, Muzaffar Ahmad Rather who highlighted the role of SNA-SPARSH in strengthening financial governance and gave a demo on bill generation on JKPaySys from DDO maker to Checker login.Detailed instructions were imparted to the participants as how the bills/ claims can be uploaded on this portal from their end and then submitted to the treasury for payment.Moreover they were briefed about the fetching of budget for the respective schemes and the procedure for making the bills keeping in view both the UT as well as the centre share by NIC expert at Distt Treasury,Ashiq Hussain.
This reform is part of a broader financial transformation under the Finance Department integrating systems like BEAMS, JKPaySys, TreasuryNet and e-Kuber, aimed at ensuring timely, transparent, and efficient release of funds to beneficiaries.
