In continuation of the efforts to eradicate the Menace of Drugs from the society, District Police Shopian arrested one drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Keller.
Today Police Station Keller received an information that one person namely Munir Ahmad Ganaie Son of Gh Nabi Ganaie resident of Ganaie Mohalla Berthipora has concealed Charas like contraband substance in his residential house. Consequent upon this information a police Party from Police Station Keller & Berthipora along with Executive Magistrate raided the said residential house. During search contraband substance *2.4 Kgs cannabis powder* was recovered and accordingly the said person was arrested. A case, FIR No. 06/2025 under relevant Sections of the NDPS Act, has been registered at Police Station Keller. Further investigation is underway to unearth the forward and backward linkages of the arrested individual. The operation was meticulously executed by SHO Keller Inspr.
