Hundreds of locals attended a free medical camp organized by the Indian Army 2 Rajpot 12 sector at Upper Primary School Shalidar Zarkan Shopian District.

More camps should be organized in the future to connect with the locals, as this process helps get closer to the people and provide them with medical assistance, said the officers.

The 2 Rajpot in collaboration with the 12 Sector RR organized a free medical camp at Upper Primary School Shalidar Zarkan Shopian district.

The camp was inaugurated by the Commanding Officer and the Deputy Commanding Officer of the of 2 Rajpot 12 Second along with other officers. A large number of locals were present at the camp. 

The aim of the camp was to provide free medicine and treatment to the locals who cannot avail themselves of medical facilities due to the distance from such facilities.

Top doctors from the indian Army and civilian sectors treated the locals and gave them the best suggestions on maintaining hygiene at all times. The medical camp was attended by hundreds of locals from the area, who received treatment and free medicine.

The locals expressed their happiness with the india army for conducting a free medical camp in this remote area, stating that they greatly benefited from it. They added that more camps should be organized in other remote areas as well.
